Deleveler
A downloadable tool
Deleveler hooks to Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, Dark Souls 3 or Elden Ring; making the player lose a level whenever they lose health.
Quick setup
- Download & unzip the content
- Launch the game (offline if possible to avoid bans/shadow bans)
- Load the save file/character
- Launch the Deleveler (EldenRingDeleveler.exe)
- Type the command "tasklist" and press Enter
- It will list all the main processes running and it should automatically detect the game and ask if you want to hook it
- Type "yes" and press Enter
- Type "start" and press Enter
- To stop it type "stop" and press Enter
- To unhook the app from the game type "unhook"and press Enter
Troubleshooting
If the game was not automatically recognized with tasklist it might be because you are using a custom .exe to launch the game or because you are using some other mod app that modifies the process. If this is the case you will need to use the command "hook" to manually hook the game process. You can read through all available commands if you type "help".
Dark Souls II is not supported, only Scholar of the First Sin version.
Other mods that directly modify player attributes or generally mess with player parameter values might make the Deleveler to not work.
Notes
This app is still in development/testing, if you find any issues please feel free to post a comment and I will try to look into it as soon as possible. This is a project made during my free time so fixes and updates might take a while.
Yes, the files are called EldenRingDeleveler because initially it was meant to be only for Elden Ring and I can not be bothered to refactor the project just to change the name :3
If you wonder if a specific situation would count as losing a level, tld;dr: if the health bar moves down, you lose a level.
- Torrent gets hit (you lose 1hp)? Delevel.
- Every poison/rot tick? Delevel.
- Fall damage? Delevel.
Known issues
Due to reading/writing memory values through an external tool, the app might crash; this does not affect the games themselves, so relaunching is all that is needed.
Elden Ring: Having any item HP debuff on when teleporting to DLC graces is registered as losing health. For example, Fia's crest consumable in inventory.
